Description: Calling all gumshoes ages 7 -12! This week (July 13 - 17) will be spent fine-tuning your powers of deduction through logic games, art projects, reading wonderful juvenile mysteries and learning the craft of mystery writing. The week will culminate with a mystery theater party at which the junior sleuths will act and try out their new-found skills in deduction. A good time is sure to be had by all. Snacks will be provided but campers will need to bring their own lunch. July 13 - 17 9:30 AM - 3:30PM Cost: $200 per child (some scholarships available).

The Miracles of Prato by Lico Albanese, Laurie Based on the true story of Fra Filippo Lippi's love for a young nun (whom he immortalized as the Madonna in many of his greatest works), this novel is beautifully evocative of Renaissance Italy, and I found the descriptions of the process of Lippi's artistry to be insightful and enlightening.
